NORRISTOWN, PA — The Montgomery County Courthouse turned blue Tuesday night to honor fallen police officers in Baton Rouge, Dallas, and around the nation.
The Montgomery County Commissioners expressed their gratitude to those in the law enforcement community who risk their lives to keep communities safe.
“Here in Montgomery County we don’t tolerate violence against the rule of law or the women and men
sworn to protect it. Tonight we honor the legacy of the fallen officers in Baton Rouge and Dallas as
peacemakers, and show respect for all law enforcement, by lighting our historic Courthouse blue. Join
us in praying for the families of the fallen and recommitting ourselves to seek change through peaceful
means, as is the American way,” said Montgomery County Commissioners Chair Josh Shapiro.
