Montgomery County Names New Chief Operating Officer
Lee Soltysiak has been named the new Chief Operating Officer of Montgomery County.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Lee Soltysiak has been named the new Chief Operating Officer of Montgomery County, county officials announced last week.
Soltysiak, of Jenkintown, who will replace outgoing COO Lauren Lambrugo, has been the Deputy COO since Jan. 2012.
“I cannot think of a more qualified individual to take the reins following Ms. Lambrugo than Mr. Lee Soltysiak," Val Arkoosh, Chair of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners, said in a statement. "During his six years as Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Lee has been an integral part of every major strategic
decision and brings great intelligence, skill, and integrity to this work. I anticipate a seamless transition and know the county will benefit greatly from his leadership."

Soltysiak's new job will officially begin on Jan. 12. Lambrugo, meanwhile, is leaving to become the COO of Public Health Management Corporation in Philadelphia, according to the county.
In addition to Soltysiak's experience within Montgomery County, he has also worked as a small business owner.
