Montgomery County Planning Commission Issues 2016 Report
Walk Montco, Bike Montco, and the Wissahickon Clean Water Partnership were some highlights of 2016.

The Montgomery County Planning Commission has issued their 2016 annual report, highlighting some of the most compelling achievements of the last year throughout the county.
“Through our work with communities, businesses, organizations, and engaged citizens, we were able to accomplish many projects and plans that will have a significant impact on the lives of county residents in the future,” said Jody L. Holton, AICP, executive director of the Montgomery County Planning Commission, in a statement.
Some notable accomplishments from 2016 which are highlighted in the report include:

- The Montco 2040 Implementation Grant Program, which provides grants to municipalities for projects that improve walkability, stormwater management, and related factors
- Walk Montco and Bike Montco
- The Wissahickon Clean Water Partnership
