Montgomery County Public Safety Issues Fire Service Survey

NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County wants to know what you think about the services provided by area fire departments.

The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety is conducting the survey, which asks residents to describe their service and what they would like to see from local departments.

"The emphasis of this strategic planning project is to assure that the residents of Montgomery County will continue to receive fire and rescue services in a professional, reliable, and cost effective fashion into the future," the survey reads. "It is assumed that volunteer firefighters will continue to be a viable force to accomplish this for the foreseeable future. Part of the assessment is to determine what will be required to make that a reality."
