Montgomery County Rolls Out New Voting System For 2019 Election
Montgomery County's new paper ballot system will be ready for the 2019 primaries. Five demonstrations are scheduled around the county.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County has officially rolled out its new paper ballot voting system in time for the 2019 primary elections. The new method replaces the aging electronic voting machines that have been in place since 1996.
Five demonstrations of the new system are scheduled around the county ahead of the primaries on May 21.
The system is straightforward. Voters receive a ballot, they fill it out, then they scan it into the machine:

The new paper ballot voting system was approved last December. The new method, provided by Dominion Voting Systems, offers a "verifiable paper trail" that will ensure accurate counting of votes.
The primary election is set for May 21 in Pennsylvania, with numerous municipal and county races up for grabs.
Voter identification is only required if it is your first time voting in that location.
