More Outages? More Than 10,000 Without Power After Storm

More than 10,000 people were without power throughout the after Tuesday afternoon’s storm, according to PECO outage maps.

There were 7,954 outages in Delaware County, and over 1,200 outages in Montgomery County.

750 customers were without power in Philadelphia county.

Thunderstorm, flood, and even tornado warnings spread across the region Tuesday afternoon as the latest summer storm hit.

Last week’s storm, by comparison, left over 140,000 without power.

PECO came under fire from residents and local lawmakers in the wake of the last storms. Critics said they did not provide accurate information when asked how long it would take for the power to come back.

PECO has not yet said how long they expect the outages to last this time.
