National Puppy Day: Adopt In Norristown Today

It's National Puppy Day: time to meet your furry friend.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- March 23 is National Puppy Day -- a day for everyone to appreciate their puppies, big and small.

But not everyone has a pet with them to celebrate the day today. In the spirit of the day, and in the hope of making sure that everyone can be united with their soulmate, check out these pups up for adoption in the local area.

The Montgomery County SPCA, based in Abington, also has pups available for adoption.

Rescued animals are saved from life-threatening situations by an animal welfare group and placed into the care of a foster family until a full time home can be found.

There is a small adoption fee for dogs and cats. All animals are microchipped, spayed and neutered, and up to date on their shots.
