Natural Egg Dyeing at Norristown Farm Park on March 13th at 2:00 pm

Dye your Easter eggs with the colors of nature rather than using commercial tablets.

The Pennsylvania Dutch began the tradition of dyeing eggs with wild berries, bark, grasses, and roots.  We are going to follow their example by using natural materials to dye eggs rather than commercial tablets.  Bring at least a dozen hard-boiled eggs.  The colors that result from natural dyeing are not always predictable, but the element of surprise will add to the fun.  Ages: adults and children 12 and up.  $5.00 per person attending.
