Norristown Begins Replacing Aging Pipe Dating to 1920s
Residents can expect a few detours throughout the summer as work gets underway across the borough.

Norristown, PA -- Pennsylvania American Water announced on Monday that the new water main installation in Norristown had begun.
The work will improve service reliability, prevent water outages and enhance fire protection, according to PA American Water.
The approximately $2.5 million project will replace nearly 10,000 feet of aging pipe dating as far back as the 1920s, officials said.
