Norristown Girls Race To Sixth Place In Penn Relays 4X100 Final
The team had qualified for the final after they dominated their heat on Thursday.

The Norristown girls 4x100 relay battled to a 6th place finish in the final of the large schools 4x100 relay on Friday.
The relay of Jonae Cook, Jayana Webb, Dymon Lee, and Kanitra Hill-Stewart ran 48.22 in the highly competitive final, which was won by Jamaica’s St. Catherine High School in an otherworldly 46.89.
The girls shaved over 2/10ths a second off their time from their heat on Thursday, which is notable over such a short distance.

Norristown dominated their heat on Thursday, winning by nearly 3 seconds.
The final capped an impressive relays for the high school, which saw them compete in several events. The girls 4x100, however, was the only relay to advance all the way to the final.
