Norristown Hero Sanford Harling Remembered At Vigil On One-Year Anniversary of Death
A candlelight vigil on Sunday commemorated the life of Sanford Harling, the Norristown boy who died trying to rescue his father a year ago.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- One year after his death, the Norristown community gathered Sunday to remember beloved hero, 12-year-old Sanford Harling.
Harling, known affectionately as Man Man, sprinted back into the family's burning Markley Street home on February 5, 2016. He wanted to save his father.
His father, however, had already escaped. And Sanford never made it out.
