A homeless man was critically injured in Norristown Thursday night after a brutal hit and run.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- A homeless man was critically injured in Norristown Thursday night after a brutal hit and run, according to a report.

The victim, 51, was hit by a speeding car on Barbadoes Street near West Lafayette street at about 8:54 p.m., the Times Herald reports.

He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he remains unconscious, and it is unclear if he will survive, the report states.
