Norristown To Host Vietnam Veterans 5k

Norristown, PA - Norristown Farm Park will host the Vietnam Veterans 5k on November 5 at 9 a.m., the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), Valley Forge Chapter 349 announced.

The VVA s a nonprofit organization with the sole purpose of assisting those who served our country.

First and foremost, they help military veterans whether physically, mentally, or emotionally to navigate the red tape of the Veterans Administration.

The motto of the Vietnam Veterans is “Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another."

The 5K Run/1 Mile Health Walk is held every year, and this will be the 19th year. T

he event will take place at the Norristown Farm Park. The Norristown Farm Park "

affords the Run/Walk a very safe, scenic and challenging site," according to organizers. Awards will be given out to top finishers in each age group, plus the fastest ROTC and Special Olympians. Cost: Pre-registered - $20; Race day - $25.
