Schuylkill Area's 'Perspectives Of Nature' Exhibit Seeking Submissions

The exhibit will feature paintings, sculptures, short films, and other art inspired by the Schuylkill River area. Submissions welcome.

Norristown, PA -- Calling all artists!

Schuylkill River Towns, Montgomery County Community College, and Center For Culture, Art, Training & Education are hosting a one-day-only exhibition on Saturday, August 6th from 12:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. entitled "Perspectives Of Nature" - a collection of paintings, drawings, watercolors, photographs, sculptures, and short films highlighting the abundant natural beauty that is all around us - and are calling for submissions from local artists between now and July 15th.

This event is free and open to the public at Center Theater (208 Dekalb Street in Norristown), which is conveniently located just 1 1/2 blocks from SEPTA's Norristown Transport Center and just 1 block from the Schuylkill River Trail.

The Schuylkill River Town Program is an initiative of the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, aimed at engaging people and communities along the Schuylkill River and trail, building awareness and stewardship through education and recreation.
