Norristown has installed a new easily accessible boat dock at Riverfront Park off Haws Avenue.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Norristown has installed a new floating boat dock at Riverfront Park on Haws Avenue, the borough announced Firday.

Tri State EZ Dock, Inc. of Seaville, NJ installed the 20’x10’ dock with a ADA approved double rail 8’x4’ gangway. The community dock, funded by Community Development Block Grant funds, is designed to adjust to fluctuating water conditions and will ease entering or exiting a boat, Norristown said.

The municipality said that the installation was meant to continue the Council's work of a "safe, vibrant and accessible waterfront."
