Norristown Jaguar Exhibit Construction To Lead To Road Closure

A road near Norristown's Elmwood Park Zoo will be temporarily closed next week due to construction on the jaguar exhibit.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Jaguars could be the reason for traffic delays in Norristown next week.

Construction on the Elmwood Park Zoo's new jaguar exhibit will lead to the closure of a road, according to municipal officials.

Harding Boulevard will be closed between Coolidge Boulevard and the Elmwood Park Zoo entrance on September 21 and September 22, officials said. The closure will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

McDonald Building Co. will be using crane lifts to set a precast concrete roof for the zoo's new jaguar exhibit.

Motorists should consider alternate routes during those times.
