Norristown Lawyer Sentenced To Jail For Stealing $90K From Clients

A Norristown lawyer pleaded guilty to stealing nearly $90,000 from his clients and faces two years in jail.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- A former Norristown lawyer pleaded guilty Tuesday to stealing nearly $100,000 from his clients and faces two years in jail, according to a court documents.

Craig Kellerman, 57, was sentenced to 11.5 to 23 months in jail, documents show.

According to the Times Herald, Kellerman was a well-known figure in county legal circles was apologetic for his crimes but did not explain why he stole the money.

The report states that about $90,000 in total was taken from two different clients.

Kellerman must also pay $96,500 in restitution, and now faces disbarment, a decision which will be made by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
