Norristown Library To Host 'Safe' Solar Eclipse Viewing Party

NORRISTOWN, PA — Have you made plans yet for the solar eclipse? The Norristown Public Library is hosting a "safe" viewing party.
The event will take place on Monday, Aug. 21 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

"We’ll be using a safe projection method to observe the eclipse. Our presenter will explain how eclipses happen, and why they are important. Please note that the library will not be providing special “eclipse glasses” to observe this event. If you wish to purchase “eclipse glasses,” we recommend that you follow the advice of the American Astronomical Society."
