Norristown Man Arrested For Trafficking Illegal Firearms: DA
A Norristown man allegedly bought the weapons, registered to himself, and then re-sold them to criminals, the DA said.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- A Norristown man has been arrested for trafficking illegal firearms, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
Alfred L. Dukes, Jr., 46, has been charged with 18 counts of illegal sale or transfer of a firearm, the DA said. The first count is a second-degree misdemeanor, while the rest of the charges are felonies.
The investigation into Dukes began when four firearms seized in the Bronx, New York, were found to be registered to Dukes, the DA said. Dukes had never reported them missing or stolen.

The subsequent investigation revealed that Dukes had purchased 19 firearms from 2009 to 2016, the DA said. Authorities recovered a total of ten of them through other criminal investigations in the Bronx and in Suffolk County in New York.
"ATF targets those individuals who unlawfully put illegal firearms into the hands of violent criminals," said Agent Sam Rabadi. "We will continue tow ork wiht out partners to aggressively dismantle firearms trafficking schemes."

Dukes failed to make $350,00 bail and was sent to Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is set for May 10.
