Norristown Men Accused Of Killing Teen Won't Face Death Penalty
The two men charged in this summer's killing of 16-year-old Jordan Scott will not face the death penalty.

NORRISTOWN, PA — The two men charged in this summer's killing of 16-year-old Jordan Scott will not face the death penalty.
The Times Herald reports that the case does not satisfy the "aggravating factors" of the most horrific crimes which must be proved in order for the death penalty to be considered.
Suspects Isiah Freeman, 18, and William Durell Wilson, 30, both waived their arraignment hearing, which was scheduled for Friday, court documents show. They also both pleaded not guilty to first and third degree murder, aggravated assault, and related counts in connection with Scott's killing.

Another teenager with Scott was suffering from a gunshot wound to the ankle.
An investigation revealed that Wilson was driving a 2013 Dodge Charger while Freeman was in the front passenger seat, police said.
They saw the two teenagers walking near Chain and Oak streets and parked around the corner to wait for them. When the two arrived, they opened fire, authorities allege.
