Norristown Motorcyclist AIrlifted To Hospital Following NJ Crash
The motorcyclist from Norristown was trying to merge into the right lane when he hit a trailer of a truck on an NJ highway.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital following a serious crash on Route 22 West in Bridgewater, New Jersey on Wednesday night.
On April 5 at 5:33 p.m. Mark Dillon, 62, of Norristown, Pennsylvania was driving a 2007 Yamaha FJR when he tried to enter the right lane of Route 22 West from Americas Best Value Inn, Bridgewater Police reported.

Dillon’s motorcycle made contact with a trailer that was being pulled by a Ford F-550 driven by James Irwin, 34, of Somerville.
Dillon was airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick with serious injuries.

Due to the crash, the westbound side of the highway was closed for almost two hours causing major traffic delays during the evening commute. Route 22 was reopened around 7:40 p.m.
This crash is being investigated by Officer Douglas Thorsen. Any witnesses are asked to call (908)-722- 4111 ext. 4154.
