Norristown Overnight Raids Net 4 Domestic Violence And Child Support Offenders: Sheriff

NORRISTOWN, PA – A total of nine individuals were arrested overnight Tuesday into Wednesday for domestic violence and not paying child support, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office announced.

Four of those individuals were from Norristown, Montgomery County Sheriff Sean P. Kilkenny said.

The arrests came as part of the 14th Annual National Family Violence Apprehension Detail, also known as the “SWEEP.”

“We have a special team of deputies that serve domestic violence related court documents every day,” Kilkenny said. “However, participating in this huge effort, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, helps to bring national awareness and gets violent offenders off the street.”

The national sweep is a collaborative effort, which includes approximately 250 law enforcement agencies in 26 states, to crack down on offenses like harassment, assault, burglary, criminal mischief and criminal mistreatment, Kilkenny said.

Four were arrested for various domestic violence charges:

• Justin Fink of 3383 Church Rd., Gilbertsville, Pa., was arrested for simple assault on his girlfriend.
• Roseann Anderson of 811 Noble St., Norristown, Pa., was arrested for endangering the welfare of her children.
• Michael Robinson of 12 Pheasant Rd., Norristown, Pa., was arrested for statutory sexual assault.
• Jonah Wheaton of 770 Logan St., Apt. B 303, Norristown, Pa., was arrested for simple assault on his girlfriend.

Five were arrested for not paying child support:

• Erik Dominguez of 1020 Willow St., Norristown, Pa., owes $7,840.67 for two children.
• Glenn Dransfield of 1250 Queen St., Pottstown, Pa., owes $6,376.91 for one child.
• Nicholas Mongan of 121 Salem Rd., Schwenksville, Pa., owes $12,348.37 for two children.
• Robert Richey of 1693 Sheffield Dr., Blue Bell, Pa., owes $16,312.15 for three children.
• Lowell Scheetz of 106 Everett Ave., Willow Grove, Pa., owes $12,203.36 for one child.

All suspects were placed in custody at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility or the Courthouse Detention Center.
