Norristown Resident Captures Burglar Who Got In Bed With His Wife: Report

"The window was open," the suspect said. "I have nowhere to go."

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Residents of Markley Street might want to keep their windows locked.

A resident on the 1800 block got a surprise in the middle of the night recently when he caught a burglar red-handed.

The suspect entered the home sometime before 3:45 a.m. on March 2, the Times Herald reports.

The man had allegedly opened an unlocked first floor window and ripped out the screen.

He then climbed into bed with the resident's wife and began fondling her.

The resident managed to detain the burglar and held him with a baseball bat until police arrive.

"The window was open," the suspect reportedly told police when they arrived. "I have nowhere to go."

After a brief struggle he was taken into custody.

He will be charged with burglary, criminal trespass, and other offenses.
