Norristown School District Opens Learning Center
By James Boyle The new kindergarten school was created in a renovated armory donated by the U.S. Army.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony last week officially opened the Norristown School District’s new Ray S. Musselman Learning Center, according to timesherald.com. The $3.2 million renovation spent two years transforming a former U.S. Army armory building into a kindergarten school for the district.
The article says that the building is named after an army lieutenant killed in action during World War II. His brother, William, cut the ribbon and celebrated the opening of the school. The 12 classrooms will be staffed by 20 teachers overseeing 280 students, according to the district.
