Norristown is looking to fill a vacant seat after the departure of Councilman Millner.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Norristown is looking to fill a vacant seat after the departure of Councilman Millner.
Millner, who announced his resignation this month, was first elected in 2009, and was then re-elected in 2013. He pointed to a desire to spend more time with his family in his letter. His wife, Diana Aubourg Millner, died in August of 2015 of breast cancer.
All council members serve four year terms. No council member may be elected for more than two consecutive four-year terms and the balance of one unexpired term of a vacant Council seat.
