Norristown 'Street Puppy' Finds New Home

The stray puppy, only three months old, is safe with a rescue home just in time for the cold weather.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Just in time to rescue her from the cold weather, a dog that was found on the streets of Norristown has found a new home.

The stray ”Shnorkie” dog is a mix of Schnauzer and Yorkie. She is about 3 months old.

The New Years puppy was originally found January 5 at the intersection of Main and Forrest Streets near the Rite Aid in Norristown.

After being discovered and taken to the Montgomery County SPCA, local residents decided to adopt her.

Her new owners have named her Dusty Ann.
