Norristown Woman Arrested For Royersford Robbery: Cops

Details emerged Wednesday after the Norristown woman who robbed Royersford's Superior Credit Union was arrested in Phoenixville.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Details emerged Wednesday after the woman who robbed Royersford's Superior Credit Union was arrested in Phoenixville, police said.

Tina Marie Thomas, 43, who has addresses in both Phoenixville and Norristown, has been charged with robbery, theft, terroristic threats, receiving stolen property, and drug offenses, according to authorities.

Thomas entered Superior Credit Union at about 12:44 p.m. on Tuesday with a firearm, police said. She walked up to the register and demanded money.

She fled the scene with the cash in a black Honda Pilot, which was driven by someone else, according to police.

Thomas was arrested later on Tuesday on the North Side of Phoenixville.

The driver is cooperating with police and has not been charged.

Thomas had crack cocaine and related drug paraphernalia on her person when she was arrested, police said.

A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
