Norristown Woman Tries To Collect A Debt, Is Beaten With Cane: Report

A woman who tried to collect a debt by beating on a neighbor’s door and threatening her with a bottle was beaten away with a cane, according to a Times Herald report.

The woman then called police to report the incident, but when police arrived, a bystander showed them a video that showed the woman screaming and cursing and trying to knock the other woman’s door down, the report states.

When the woman could not gain entry, she grabbed a bottle and started threatening the neighbor with physical harm, according to the report.

That’s when the neighbor came out wielding a cane, beating the woman away, the report states.

The woman who called the police was given a citation, per the report.
