Norristown Women's Center Partnership With Local Cops Recognized
Cops have worked with the nonprofit on several vital domestic violence prevention programs.

LOWER MERION, PA -- The partnership between the Lower Merion Police Department and the Women’s Center of Montgomery County was recognized at a recent meeting in the township.
Representatives from the Center were on hand before the May Board of Commissioners meeting on May 18 to recognize the important work done on several domestic violence prevention programs, and the impact they've had on the community, according to police.
Christine Wiita, Maria Macaluso, and Pauline McGibbon joined Board President Paul McElhaney, Police Committee Chair Scott Zelov, LMPD Supt. Mike McGrath and Lt. Dave Snyder, police said.

The Women's Center of Montgomery County is a volunteer and community organization with a primary focus on freedom from domestic violence.
It's located on 107 E. Main Street in Norristown.
