Norristown's 2019 'Touch A Truck' Event Coming Up This Weekend
A police cruiser, SWAT Bearcat, ambulance, fire truck, medical transport helicopter, crime scene truck, and much more.
NORRISTOWN, PA — The annual "Touch a Truck" event is coming up this weekend in Norristown.
The event, organized by the District Attorney's Office and Norristown Police Department, will take place at 1800 Markley Street from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.
The event will include a wide variety of working vehicles, including a SEPTA bus, police cruiser, SWAT Bearcat, crime scene truck, fire truck, a medical transport helicopter, and more.

"Touch a Truck will allow for kids and kids at heart to explore, touch, get into, and otherwise interact with these vehicles and their operators to learn how they work and what they do," the event description reads.
Parental supervision for children is required.

In addition, several local restaurants will be on hand with food to purchase. And the Montgomery County District Attorney's Pill Car will accept unwanted and expired prescription medications for safe disposal.
