Norristown's Dani Martorella Featured By Suburban One

NORRISTOWN, PA - Dani Martorella, a three-sport, year-round athlete for Norristown Area High School, has been named the past week’s featured athlete by Suburban One Sports.
Martorella, a senior, is the captain of the swim team, and has also played lacrosse and field hockey for the Eagles.
She reportedly does not appreciate the image of Norristown which the town’s reputation may sometimes bestow upon its residents. As she told Suburban One:

There is a stereotype about Norristown. People hear you are from Norristown, and they look at you differently. People look down on you. I don’t think that’s fair. I just feel as though people shouldn’t stereotype.
They judge off of what they see, and there is more to Norristown than what they see. I have had the opportunity to meet different people and experience different cultures at Norristown that they never will.
