Norristown's Elmwood Park To Host Election Day Special
Vote for your favorite animal, enjoy patriotic themed activities, watch a live animal show, and much more.
NORRISTOWN, PA -- Election Day is here - now's your chance to vote for candidates to lead your town, state, and country for the near future. It's also a chance to elect your favorite animals.
Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown is holding a special Election Day "vote" where participants get to elect their favorite zoo creature.
Contenders include Dhoruba the Giraffe, Rocky the Otter, Tatonka the Bison, and Penny the Alligator.

The event will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. Polls open at noon and a live animal show will take place at 12:45 p.m. on the Eagles Deck.
While awaiting results, guests can enjoy popcorn, hot dogs and refreshments, and patriotic-themed face paint as well as arts and crafts.

Uncle Sam will also make an appearance as a stilt walker from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
