PECO Donates 400 Trees To Norristown Farm Park For Arbor Day
PECO donated 400 trees to Montgomery County and Norristown Farm Park in celebration of Arbor Day this past weekend.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- PECO donated around 400 trees to residents of Montgomery County in recognition of Arbor Day over the weekend.
The donation, which will be distributed throughout Norristown Farm Park, was made through the Arbor Day Foundation. It is part of the Energy Saving Trees program.
“We want to thank PECO for their efforts in keeping Montgomery County green and beautiful,” said Val Arkoosh, Chair, Montgomery County Board of Commissioners, who planted one of the donated trees today at the Norristown Farm Park along with Commissioners Ken Lawrence, Jr. and Joe Gale, and Regional External Affairs Manager at PECO, Suzanne Ryan. “These trees will brighten our streets and parks and contribute to preserving our environment, all the while saving homeowners money with reduced energy costs.”
