Phillies Opening Day 2019: Stadium Expands Food Options

With the Phillies 2019 Opening Game against the Braves just a week away, a new and expanded lineup of unique food has been announced for the ballpark this season.

Citizens Bank Park has always been on the vanguard of food and drink options, offering vegetarian options and microbreweries before many others.

This year's expanded menu includes several new snacks and meals you may never have seen at a ballpark before, according to Aramark:

• Cheesy Bacon Topped Tots: Tater tots, American cheese sauce, bacon, shredded cheddar jack cheese and diced scallions
• Vegan Lettuce Wraps: Curry cauliflower, fried chickpeas and coconut milk
• Donut Burger: Fresh beef burger, cheese, bacon and spicy cherry pepper jam, on a glazed donut
• Tandoori Chicken Wings: Yogurt marinated chicken wings, Kashmiri chili pepper, tamarind and scallions

McFadden's has closed, but a new beer garden, Pass and Stow, along with a Shake Shack will be open.

Hip-hop drummer Questlove has also teamed up with Impossible Foods to offer a new meatlesss cheesesteak at the ballpark. It will be the second vegetarian cheesesteak in the park, after Campo's in Ashburn Alley.
