The Planning Commission Wants To Know: How Is Biking In Montgomery County?

The Montgomery County Planning Commission will hold a pair of open houses to survey public opinion on the county's Bike Montco plan.

NORRISTOWN, PA — The Montgomery County Planning Commission is hosting a pair of upcoming workshops to garner public opinion on the county's "Bike Montco" plan.

Participants will be asked to talk about their experiences cycling in Montgomery County, safety issues, and recommendations for improvements.

"The Bike Montco plan will recommend key policies for bicycle safety, recommend bicycle facilities, and highlight implementation opportunities and funding," the Planning Commission's website states.

The first workshop will take place on May 23, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Skippack Administrative Building, 4089 Heckler Road, Collegeville.

The second is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24 at the Upper Dublin Township Building on 801 Loch Alsh Avenue in Fort Washington.
