A Plymouth man has pleaded guilty in a fatal Norristown hit and run crash that left a Norristown man dead in 2016.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A Plymouth man has pleaded guilty in a fatal Norristown hit and run crash that left a Norristown man dead in 2016.
Kyle Haines, 33, pleaded guilty to homicide by vehicle in the death of 51-year-old Todd Donohue, according to court documents.
Haines was arrested days after he hit Donohue at Barbadoes and West Lafayette Streets on May 5, 2016, documents show.

The Times Herald reports that prosecutors are seeking jail time; Haines faces from three to seven years in prison for the charge.
Donohue, who was reportedly homeless, was airlifted to the hospital after the incident with severe injuries throughout his body but did not regain consciousness. Police said Donohue was legally crossing the street when Haines struck him and fled the scene.
