Popular Korean Chain Opening New Spot In King Of Prussia

The mall area's roster of new restaurants continues to expand.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The King of Prussia mall area's roster of new restaurants continues to expand.

Bonchon, which already has four other locations in the greater Philadelphia area, will open up at the King of Prussia mall's Food Court on Sunday, Aug. 8.

The popular chain, founded in South Korea in 2002, is known for its crunch, double-fried chicken. It routinely lands on lists of best wings at major restaurants nationwide. They serve wings and drumsticks with several options for sauces, and also have sliders, pork buns, popcorn shrimp, and more.

The grand opening event set for Sunday will take place from noon to 6 p.m. The restaurant will be giving away free t-shirts with any order that is at least $30 or more.

There are 110 Bonchons domestically, and more than 370 total internationally.
