Possible Oil Spill Investigated on Schuylkill River Near Conshohocken

Authorities are investigating whether an oil spill has made its way into the Schuylkill River near Conshohocken Wednesday.

HAZMAT crews are investigating a possible oil spill in the Schuylkill River near Conshohocken, officials confirmed.

Authorities responded to a report of a smell of gas on Balligomingo Road near the Blue Route overpass at around 9:30 a.m.

Crews were attempting to discover if the leak had made its way down to the river.
