Power Goes Out at King of Prussia Mall Thursday
Breaking: a fire at a PECO station led to a brief power outage at the King of Prussia Mall
A fire in Upper Merion led to a power outage in a portion of the township on Thursday, including the King of Prussia Mall, police said.
The incident occurred late Thursday morning. There were still nine outages in Upper Merion as of 4 p.m., but most of the outages were resolved within the hour.
According to a spokesperson for the mall, the outage was caused by a fire at a PECO substation on First Avenue in King of Prussia.
