Rash of Overnight Break-Ins, Vehicle Thefts Strike Audubon
Police are warning residents to be cautious after a series of break-ins at local businesses and thefts from cars.

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA -- Police are warning Audubon and Norristown residents to be cautious after a series of break-ins at local businesses and thefts from cars.
During the overnight hours of May 11 there were numerous thefts from unlocked motor vehicles in the Audubon area, police said.
Victims residing on Denise Court, Applevalley Road, Blue Bird Circle, Redtail Road, Redwing Lane, Thrush Lane, and Appledale Road were hit, according to police.

During the same time period, there was a forced entry burglary at Hildebrandt’s Auto Body, 2877 Egypt Road, and an attempted burglary at Audubon Upholstery, 2859 Egypt Road.
One of the suspects was captured on surveillance video. The other suspect was wearing dark clothing and carrying a dark back pack, police said.
