Report Sees 'Gender Divide' In How Cosby Is Perceived
Does your gender determine how see you the Bill Cosby case? One report suggests so.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- The general public is divided on Bill Cosby based on gender lines, according to one new report.
The actual legal facts and issues matter less in forming opinions than does one’s gender, PhillyVoice determined after interviews with several Norristown residents.
Several women interviewed felt strongly that Cosby was guilty and that he should be tried for the allegations made against him, the report states.

“It’s the men who are for Cosby. Most of them say, ‘It’s so long ago.’ The women don’t agree. Me? I don’t think what he did should be allowed,” Cori Wagner, Norristown resident, told PhillyVoice.

The men interviewed agreed with Wagner’s initial gender assessment, citing the age of the case and indifference as their primary reasons. Few seemed taken up with the damage to Cosby’s legacy or their own perception of it.
A court will consider the Cosby defense’s motion to have the case dismissed and to have District Attorney Kevin Steele removed from any future proceedings against Cosby.
The comedian’s defense team alleges that Steele used Cosby as a political prop in the DA race last spring.
