Animal rescue organizations in the Norristown area have posted hundreds of rescued kittens and cats - and dogs - that are currently available for adoption.

Rescued animals are saved from life-threatening situations by an animal welfare group and placed into the care of a foster family until a full time home can be found.

There is a small adoption fee for cats and dogs. All animals are microchipped, spayed and neutered, and up to date on their shots.
