Route 23 Ramp To 422 East To Reopen, Alleviating Valley Forge Area Traffic

Valley Forge area traffic should be improved this week when the ramp from Route 23 onto 422 East reopens.

VALLEY FORGE, PA — Valley Forge area traffic should be improved this week when the ramp from Route 23 onto 422 East reopens.

The ramp has been shut down for two months for construction to improve the bridge over 422. It will reopen Thursday afternoon, Sept. 14 PennDOT announced.

A traffic shift is also planned, officials said. Motorists traveling over 422 between Gulph Road and Moore Road will be shifted to the newly built half of the Route 23 bridge so crews can begin construction on the other half of the structure.
