Sex Trafficking Awareness Film To Be Shown In Norristown

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Want to learn about youth sex trafficking in Norristown and throughout the area and what you can do about it?

The Long Night, an award winning documentary film, will be presented at the Norristown New Life Mennonite Church on Wednesday, March 29 at 7 p.m.

The screening will be followed by a bilingual panel discussion, organized by MCAT PA. MCAT's stated mission is to "educate professionals and society alike on human trafficking and sexual exploitation in our county to increase awareness and foster prevention."

Set in Seattle, Washington, the feature documentary film The Long Night gives voice and meaning to the crisis of minors who are forced and coerced into the American sex trade. The film weaves together the stories of seven people whose lives were changed by domestic minor sex trafficking.
