Skimmers Found At 7-Eleven ATMs In Montco, Police Say
Authorities are warning anyone who may have used these ATMs recently to check their banks for unauthorized withdrawals.
NORRISTOWN, PA — The Norristown Police Department has opened an investigation into multiple skimmer devices being placed on ATMs inside 7-Eleven stores around the area.
The stores on both 708 E. Johnson Highway and 1335 Sandy Hill Road were found to have skimmers, police said.
The placements were discovered on March 6, but it's not yet clear how long they may have been in operation.

"The devices were located internally and included a small camera above the keypad to capture the pin as it is entered by the user," the police department said in a statement.
Authorities are warning anyone who may have used these ATMs recently to check their banks for unauthorized withdrawals or any suspicious activity.
