Skippack Man Shared Dozens of Child Porn Files: DA
A Skippack man has been arrested after allegedly sharing dozens of files of child pornography with an undercover detective, the DA said.

A Skippack man has been arrested after authorities found dozens of child pornography files on his home computer, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday.
William A. Davis, 52, has been charged with multiple felony counts of dissemination of child pornography and possession of child pornography.
Authorities first began investigating Davis on September 4. Undercover detectives with the East Norriton Township Police Department discovered a computer that was specifically designed to anonymously share files with others, and dug a little deeper, the DA's office said.

Once an undercover detective connected to Davis' computer, he was sent 73 sexually explicit files; 24 of those files depicted children engaged in sexual acts or sexually explicit poses, according to authoriites.
Davis was arrested on December 1 and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 8.
