Snow plows and salt trucks have been out since Saturday preparing the roads and then clearing snow as swiftly as possible.

"Once snowfall ends, crews will transition to salting operations, which are expected to continue through the afternoon," the municipality shared. "Between the temperature, salting, and daylight, road conditions should continue to improve."

The snow is particularly wet and heavy, making plowing and clearing more difficult.

Residents are reminded to clear their walkways, sidewalks in front of their property, and areas around snowplows as soon as they are able.

More snow is possible Tuesday night as another front moves into the area. Details here.
