Spring Not Here Yet As Code Blue Declared In Montgomery County
Frigid weather is coming back to Montgomery County just a day after temperatures soared into the 60s.

Temperatures are rapidly plummeting around the area, and the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety has declared a Code Blue Cold Weather Emergency beginning Wednesday night.
The Cold Blue will got into effect at 9 p.m. and will last through 9 a.m. Saturday.

Temperatures are expected to dip into the lower 20s on Wednesday night, which is a 40 degree turnaround from Tuesday's high of 65.

Thursday Night A chance of rain and snow between 8pm and 11pm, then snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 28. Calm wind becoming east 5 to 7 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
Friday Rain and snow likely before 2pm, then a chance of rain between 2pm and 5pm, then a slight chance of rain and snow after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 37. Northeast wind 9 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Friday Night A slight chance of rain and snow before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 25. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Cold Blue is declared in the county when winter conditions pose a threat of serious harm or death to individuals without shelter.
