Students Plan March For Our Lives In Norristown
Saturday's March For Our Lives event at Norristown Farm Park will rally students in a push for common sense gun laws and policy.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Students across the Norristown area are preparing to participate in a March for Our Lives this weekend at Norristown Farm Park.
The March for Our Lives is a a student-led, peaceful demonstration, and will be held Saturday, March 24. The goal, according to organizers, is "to unite our community to reduce gun violence and to center student voices for safety in our schools and communities."
The symbolic march is in solidarity with the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida and aims to push for common sense gun laws and policies.

Marchers will meet at Whitehall Road and Sterigere Street at 10 a.m. The march will go around the perimeter of the park.
Everytown for Gun Safety has donated a a large "March for Our Lives" banner, as well as hundreds of signs, organizers said.
