A pair of suspects are cutting the Comcast cables at local businesses before burglarizing them, authorities said.

A pair of burglars allegedly cut the Comcast cables at multiple area businesses before burglarizing them, according to the Lower Providence Township Police Department.

The cutting was ostensibly done to prevent surveillance footage from being gathered, but they were not completely successful.

The first area hit was the Audubon Village Shopping Center, whose cables were cut in the early morning hours Monday, January 16. That same morning, the Wine and Spirit Shop and Audubon Beverage were burglarized, police said.
